Project Operations Manager

Take ownership of the systems, standards, and numbers behind every project. You’ll improve how we plan, track, and deliver work so every project runs smoothly.

This is not a maintenance role.

Plenty of operations jobs are about keeping the lights on. This one is about building the machine. You’ll oversee every Project Manager on our team and own the outcome of every active job: on time, on budget, and at the standard our clients pay for.

We’ve been building landscaping and construction projects across the DMV since 2008, and we’re growing. What we need now is an operator who can bring structure, accountability, and clear systems to match that growth. You’ll have direct access to leadership and the authority to change how things run.

Build SOPs people follow. Own the numbers. Develop your PMs.

We’ll give you the tools, the access, and the context. The instinct to spot a broken process before it costs money, and the discipline to build the fix that sticks, that part is yours to bring.

You build systems people actually follow

You write SOPs that account for how the work really gets done, not how it should in theory. Then you hold every PM to them without micromanaging.

You hold people accountable without losing them

You can have the hard conversation, keep the relationship intact, and get a better result the following week. Accountability is a standard you set, not a threat you make.

You run on the numbers

Budgets, job costs, KPIs, subcontractor invoices. You catch the line item that’s off, know what it means for the project’s margin, and bring it to the surface before it becomes a problem.

You control cost without being asked twice

When something goes wrong, you fix it. Then you ask why the process allowed it and build the SOP that keeps it from happening twice. The fix outlasts you.

Proven experience in operations or project management leadership, ideally with subcontractors or service businesses.
A PMP Certification is a plus.
