What the job actually looks like
Here’s exactly what you’ll spend your time on, and what you won’t be asked to do.
What you'll do
- 3–5 homeowner appointments per day across the DMV Area
- Walk the yard, scope the project, listen to what they want
- Build the estimate using our pricing system
- Present proposals and handle real questions
- Follow up consistently until they make a decision
- Stay in touch with past clients for referrals and repeat work
- Coordinate with the production crew to ensure projects land as sold
What you won't do
- Cold call strangers from a list
- Door-knock neighborhoods
- Pay for your own leads
- Work every weekend
- Sell a product you can't believe in
- Get left alone when a project hits a problem

You've been excellent at something hard
A sport, a trade, military service, an instrument, running a team. Something that took years and didn’t come easy. That’s your proof of concept.
You take losses personally, then move on
When you lose a proposal, you want to know why. You adjust. Then you go win the next one. That loop is the whole game.
You finish what you start
Most salespeople quit at follow-up. The ones who don’t are the ones still standing at the end of the quarter. That’s the job.
You like being in front of people
You can hold a real conversation with a homeowner you’ve just met. You’re curious about how things work and what people actually want.
Valid driver’s license and legal eligibility to work in the US required.
Industry background in landscaping, remodeling, or roofing is a plus.
